Cranberry Lake
A 172-acre lake with 2.76 miles of shoreline. Its sand bottom makes it a popular lake for swimming, paddling, and playing. You will enjoy fishing for Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass and Panfish. Connected to the Minong Flowage by the Cranberry Narrows, it is passable by fishing boats and pontoons to the Minong Flowage.
The Minong Flowage
Has 1,564-acres, fed by the Totagatic River, and built by a dam built in 1937, has a sandy bottom with depths up to 21’. Although much of the Flowage is deep, it’s many shallow bays contain tree stumps and aquatic vegetation, making for some of best fishing in North Western WI. Spend your day fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, and Yellow Perch. The Flowage is also popular for boating, waterskiing, paddling, and it’s many sand islands to pull up to and share fish stories.

Fishing
The boating channel between Cranberry Lake and the Minong Flowage makes our area one of NW Wisconsin’s most popular recreation & fishing lakes.

Paddling
Jump in your kayak or canoe and paddle through Cranberry Narrows to enjoy nature and wildlife. There are many bays to explore and you’re sure to see Eagles soaring overhead, turtles resting on logs, and deer at the water getting a drink.
Watersports
If you feel the need for speed, Cranberry Lake is an excellent place to pull your tubers and water skiers! With clean, clear water that flows, they may fall in on purpose!
Boating
Do you love a gentle ride along the shoreline in your pontoon? You can make this trip last an entire day! Between Cranberry Lake and The Minong Flowage, you can spend an entire day cruising the shorelines. If you feel the need for a swim, pull up to one of MANY sand islands and sand bars to cool down. If you get hungry, there are FOUR bars and restaurants with boat parking to stop at and enjoy a great meal and an icy cold drink.
ATV
Cranberry Lake Resort is located in the heart of ATV country, with one of the best trail systems in the country right outside your front door. Well-maintained and groomed trails run through some of the most beautiful and scenic country. Please support the many businesses that the trail system connects to.
Jump on Trail 3 right at Cranberry Lake Resort and enjoy the ride with direct access to WI Corridor Trail 41, to the Wild Rivers Trail leading to Hayward, Cable, Superior, and more! Please support the many businesses, bars and restaurants, and gas stations along the way.
The dedication of time and hard work from this group of people are the reason we have this amazing trail system right here. Please support the 4 Seasons Rec Club by attending meat raffles, buying apparel, and becoming a member. If you’re only stopping through, you will find donation boxes at establishments along the trail system.
